Christmas Cookie Galore

We could have been a cookie factory during our Christmas Cookie Party!  Bing Bong hosted us, Auntie Jaz, Uncle Nate, and Cousins Malcolm and Margot for our yearly tradition of decorating cookies.  

Bing Bong, Haylee, and I mixed and baked the dough the night before.   We cut various shapes with cookie cutters.  Blu helped us with that part.

Haylee and Malcolm picked and mixed the colors for our frosting.

We all worked diligently in making our own uniquely styled cookies.  

Malcolm spent nearly one hour decorating one cookie.  As you can see, it is quite the masterpiece.

Artistry runs deep through his veins, as his mom is an expert crafter, and papa is a perfectionist creator.  Malcolm's papa can be seen here with extreme focus, inspiring all of us to do our best!

Rachel's Birthday

Much to her surprise, husband Riggs took wife Riggs on a glorious mountain retreat for her birthday!  

We stayed at the Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast, a quaint old cabin in the deep snow near Cooper's Spur.  

We had our very own claw foot tub, wood stove, bottle of wine, and icicles hanging from roof.  It was super cozy and beautiful!  

In the morning a nice breakfast was made for us and then we went off to Mt. Hood to ski the day away!  

Husband Riggs tried skiing for the first time and was a natural.  He didn't even bother with the bunny hill, just went straight for the real runs.  

We even made it down a black diamond!  What a brave dude!  

Oops!  There were a couple falls, but not many!

When we got back into town we had a small celebration with Momba Bing.  

Haylee made a clue filled trail to my birthday gift.  

Andrew got plenty of warm backbacking gear for his always-too-cold wife, so that we can have a productive year of trips!

Haylee had the clever idea to turn a big cabinet into a hang out!  

They were awfully cozy looking in that cabinet - pillows, blankets, night light and all!

And the ever-so-talented broom guitarist.... Hayleeeeeee Riiiiiiiigggssssss (applause)!

Thanksgiving

The Riggs Fam had two Thanksgiving celebrations this year!  

One with the Bing at her home, and one with Andrews fam at the Cutsforth Grands' home.
