Washington Park Zoo

During our visit with Uncle Sam and Jen (who were here for our wedding reception), we went for a stroll through the zoo.

It was a wet day, but fairly uncrowded, and still plenty of fun.

We toured the new Dinosaur Exhibit, which was great!

Blu was brave, even putting his hands in the T-Rex's mouth.

 Andrew found his twin dino.

Uncle Sam and Andrew checked out how they measured up with the flying dinos.

This was Jen's first time in Oregon and she got to experience a true rainy Portland day.

Oxbow Celebration

As most of you know, we eloped in Bermuda in June of this year.  On September 19th we celebrated our marriage with family and friends at Oxbow Park!

Thanks to Dad and Kate's party planning skills, we all had plenty of good food and fun things to do.

Our celebration site was next to the Sandy river.  Besides eating and chatting, we played horseshoes, gnome bowling, soccer, catch, and threw rocks into the water.

Sam made a DVD of our wedding, along with footage of that day.

Thanks for celebrating our marriage with us everyone!

Corn Maize

On one of our last warm days this fall, we drove out to the Sauvie Island "Corn Maize" with Bing Bong!

Haylee studied the clue card, and helped us navigate through the huge labyrinth.

We also jumped from hay stacks, rode the cow train, and visited some farm animals.

Later in the day we got fresh squash, cucumbers, carrots, beets, and freshly pickled green tomatoes from the farmer's market.  What a fun fall day!
